Butterfly Conservation, the largest insect conservation charity in Europe, is a partner of the Mid Cornwall Moors project. This part of Cornwall is one of the most important areas for the Marsh Fritillary in the County and also in the southwest. Such a large-scale project is essential if we are going to succeed in conserving this beautiful butterfly. Butterfly Conservation is involved with helping to deliver the technical aspects of the project, such as running events for the local community and giving advice on monitoring and management methods.
